The Minister of Agriculture, Florin Barbu, has announced that Romanian farmers will receive a subsidy of 50% of their diesel consumption for the year 2022. This is an additional assistance apart from the support provided to reduce the excise tax on diesel used in agriculture. The state aid scheme is expected to be approved by the Government in the next two weeks.
